De plus, les antécédents migratoires d'un individu sont généralement établis en prenant en compte non seulement sa nationalité et son lieu de naissance, mais aussi ceux de ses parents. Dans la première partie de cette étude, l'étendue et la composition de l'arrière-plan migratoire au Grand-Duché de Luxembourg seront examinées. La seconde partie se penche sur les relations entre l'arrière-plan migratoire et les réformes de la politique de naturalisation. Enfin, la troisième partie met en évidence les dynamiques démographiques induites par les variations de l'arrière-plan migratoire au cours de la période 2011-2021. [en] The population census categorizes individuals based on their country of birth and nationality, distinguishing between natives (people born in Luxembourg) and foreign-born individuals, as well as their country of nationality, distinguishing between nationals and foreign citizens. Furthermore, an individual's migratory background is captured not solely from their nationality and birthplace, but also from their parents' birthplace. In the first part of this study, the extent and composition of migratory backgrounds in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg will be examined. The second part delves into the relationships between migratory backgrounds and naturalization policy reforms. Finally, the third part highlights the demographic dynamics induced by variations in migratory backgrounds during the period from 2011 to 2021.
