[fr] Avec ses 267 300 travailleurs frontaliers en 2022, la Grande Région Saar-Lor-Lux est souvent présentée comme un modèle d’intégration européenne. Les frontières, de moins en moins perceptibles, s’effacent pour ces navetteurs allant d’un pays à un autre. La pandémie de Covid-19 a pourtant vu réapparaitre des limites que l’on croyait oubliées. Force est de constater que de nombreuses problématiques liées aux frontières se manifestent ces dernières années, avec d’autant plus de vigueur que les défis et tensions sont multiples et les effectifs de travailleurs frontaliers croissants. La question des inégalités est centrale dans ce contexte de marché du travail transfrontalier aux composantes fortement imbriquées. [de] Mit 267.300 Grenzgängern im Jahr 2022 wird die Großregion Saar-Lor-Lux häufig als Vorbild für die europäische Integration dargestellt. Die insgesamt immer weniger wahrnehmbaren Grenzen lösen sich für
die betreffenden Pendler, die sich von einem Land in ein anderes begeben, nahezu auf. Im Zuge der Covid- 19-Pandemie tauchten dann jedoch vergessen geglaubte Grenzen wieder auf. Festzustellen ist, dass in den vergangenen Jahren zahlreiche grenzbezogene Probleme aufgetreten sind, vor allem deshalb, weil es vielfältige Herausforderungen und Spannungen gibt und die Zahl der Grenzpendler zunimmt. Die Frage nach den Ungleichheiten ist in diesem Kontext eines grenzüberschreitenden Arbeitsmarkts mit stark
verflochtenen Teilgebieten von zentraler Bedeutung. [en] With its 267,300 cross-border workers in 2022, the Greater Region of SaarLorLux is often presented as a model of European integration. Borders are becoming less and less perceptible, and are disappearing for commuters travelling from one country to another. However, the ovid-19 pandemic has shown the reappearance of borders that were thought to have been forgotten. It has to be said that many orderrelated issues have come to the fore in recent years, all the more so because of the many challenges and tensions as well as the growing number of cross-border workers. The question of inequalities is central in this context of a cross-border labour market with strongly interwoven components.
