“SO-WELL-AWARE” Raising awareness for school well-being: Training teachers how to monitor emotional wellbeing, social inclusion and academic self-concept of students
[en] The SO-WELL-AWARE project aims to enhance teachers' awareness and skills in assessing and promoting students' well-being in inclusive schools. The project also contributes to improving teachers' ICT skills by supporting them in using open educational resources in the context of school well-being. To achieve these objectives, the SO-WELL-AWARE package has been developed, including an easy-to-use online assessment tool accompanied by an online manual and a training package. This package contains knowledge on the relevance of school well-being as well as methods and materials to promote students’ well-being in class. Implemented in eight schools across four countries, including Luxembourg, the project predominantly equips teachers to support students at risk of low well-being. By promoting students' well-being, we aim to reduce educational inequalities and support holistic development. Thus, the project aims to contribute to the long-term goal of fostering inclusive, supportive, and effective educational environments, benefiting teachers and students alike.
