Abstract :
[en] Alternative Care arrangements consists in all forms or care provided to children (including UAM) who are temporarily or permanently deprived of parental care and who need protection and substitute family or community-based support. Regarding UAM, these arrangements aim to ensure their stability, safety, well-being, development and integration in accordance with the best interest of the child principle. The aim to provide: a) Safe accommodation; b) Deal with individual needs (e.g. education, health, psychosocial support); c) Guarantee stable and nurturing environments; and d) Prepare for durable solutions (e.g. family reunification, integration, resettlement).
