Rapporto sul XX Incontro dei giovani cultori delle discipline internazionalistiche

This paper contains some reflections on the 20th Meeting of Young International Law Scholars, in the form of a report based on observations made during two days spent in Milan among a group of international lawyers belonging to several generations and sharing an attachment to the 'positivist' method and a certain distrust of critical approaches to the discipline; all this in the context of the West's loss of enthusiasm for international law and the concomitant emergence of a 'Third Third-Worldism" which, like the first one, tends to seek an 'progressive use' of international law without (unlike the first one) revolutionising its content, and the spirit of which may explain the decision to dedicate this meeting to the Global South.
