Abstract :
[en] Looking at the current massive global nursing shortage (10 million according to the WHO in 2020), how can we address the sustainability of the nursing profession in the same way as we take actions to protect our environment? During this lunch talk, the intertwined domains of self-care, relation with others and our planet will be discussed. Ensuring the sustainability of nurses covers the promotion of their health and well-being in constant interaction with a changing ecosystem. Beyond the complexity and vulnerability, they face on a daily basis, nurses are leaders and changemakers to implement concrete strategies in their professional environment to promote quality of life for human beings and protect our planet.
