[fr] Fondée à l’initiative du père Brocquart, avec l’appui du gouverneur Berlaymont, la chapelle de Notre Dame, Consolatrice des Affligés, est devenue en l’espace de quelques années seulement, le sanctuaire le plus visité de la région. Son rayonnement est tel que le culte s’exporte dans les régions limitrophes du duché. En 1626, la guérison miraculeuse de Jacques Brocquart, atteint de la peste, connaît un tel retentissement que les pèlerins affluent des quatre coins du duché pour demander une faveur divine, et cela, avant même la fin des constructions de la chapelle. La carte a pour but de mettre en avant la dimension spatiale des rapports sur des miraculés de Notre Dame de Luxembourg pendant la première moitié du 17e siècle.
[en] Founded on the initiative of Father Brocquart, with the support of Governor Berlaymont, the chapel of Our Lady, Consoler of the Afflicted, became in the space of only a few years, the shrine of the Lady, Consoler of the Afflicted, has become, in the space of a few years, the most visited shrine in the the most visited shrine in the region. Its influence was such that the cult was exported to the regions bordering the duchy. In 1626, the miraculous healing of Jacques Brocquart, who was suffering from the plague, caused such a stir that pilgrims flocked from the four corners of the duchy to ask for a divine favour, even before the chapel was completed. The aim of the map is to highlight the spatial dimension of the reports on the miracles of Notre Dame de Luxembourg during the first half of the 17th century.
[de] Die auf Initiative von Pater Brocquart und mit Unterstützung des Gouverneurs Berlaymont gegründete Kapelle Unserer Lieben Frau, der Trösterin der Armen, ist eine der schönsten Kapellen der Welt. Dame, Trösterin der Betrübten, wurde in nur wenigen Jahren zum Heiligtum. der meistbesuchte Ort in der Region. Ihre Ausstrahlung war so groß, dass der Kult auch in die angrenzenden Regionen des Herzogtums exportiert wurde. Die Wunderheilung des an der Pest erkrankten Jacques Brocquart im Jahr 1626 erregte so viel Aufsehen, dass Pilger aus allen Teilen des Herzogtums zusammenströmten, um göttliche Gunst zu erbitten, und das noch bevor der Bau der Kapelle abgeschlossen war. Die Karte soll die räumliche Dimension der Berichte über Wundertäter in Notre Dame de Luxembourg in der ersten Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts hervorheben.
