Abstract :
[en] The behaviour of headed shear studs in fatigue loading in composite steel- and concrete constructions is presented. In contrast to the traditional way to conduct fatigue tests in a force-controlled manner, the tests have been conducted displacement-controlled. The evaluation of the test data with the Ramberg-Osgood equation allowed the creation of a shear force – slip amplitude diagram and its separation into an ‘elastic’ and a ‘plastic’ part for the long-term and the short-term behaviour. This diagram can be used to model the load-deformation behaviour of the shear studs in fatigue loading in composite bridges.
