[en] In this Conference, we presented the the results from the project TRANSLA, with the focus on the teachers. According to the results from the questionnaires that were administered before and after the professional development course in translanguaging pedagogy, there was a significant increase in teachers' positive attitudes towards multilingualism and the use of children's home languages, and a significant decrease of focus on Luxembourgish only, after the course. The focus groups before and after the course and the interviews after the course showed that there was a raise of awareness of the link between implementation of home languages and children's well-being, positive change in deficit perspective of children, and positive change in attitudes (however, for some still firm monolingual stance). Finally, the teachers shared that there was a positive change in their practice (however, for some too time-consuming).
