[en] This article offers a close reading of the parliamentary debates of July and October 1978, regarding the partial liberalisation of abortion in Luxembourg. It highlights rhetorical strategies and underlying moral, ethical and ideological lines of argumentation of MPs in a key legislation of the Liberal-Socialist coalition of the late 1970s.
