[de] In der HBSC-Studie 2014 wurden die Schüler gefragt, wie lange sie an einem Wochentag fernsehen. Knapp 8 % geben an, nicht fernzusehen, weitere 19 % schauen eine halbe Stunde fern. 57 % schauen 2 Stunden oder mehr fern, was als häufiger TV-Konsum definiert wird. Bei Schülern im Alter von 13-18 ist häufiger TV-Konsum weiter verbreitet als bei Schülern im Alter von 11-12. Des Weiteren ist häufiger TV-Konsum verbreiteter bei Schülern des Secondaire technique als bei Schülern des Fondamental sowie des Secondaire. Schüler, die davon ausgehen, dass ihre Lehrer sie für leistungsschwach halten, schauen häufiger Fernsehen als Schüler, die denken, dass ihre Lehrer sie für überdurchschnittlich leistungsfähig halten.
[fr] Dans le cadre de l'étude HBSC 2014, il a été demandé aux élèves combien de temps par jour en semaine ils regardaient la télévision. Près de 8 % affirment ne pas regarder la télévision, 19 % la regardent une demi-heure et 57 % regardent la télévision pendant au moins 2 heures, ce qui est considéré comme une consommation fréquente de la télévision. Pour les élèves de 13 à 18 ans, la consommation de télévision est plus répandue que pour ceux de 11 et 12 ans. En outre, la consommation de télévision est plus importante chez les élèves du technique que chez ceux du fondamental et du secondaire classique. Les élèves, qui ont le ressentiment d'être perçus comme peu performants par leurs enseignants, regardent plus souvent la télévision que les élèves qui pensent être perçus par leurs enseignants comme plus performants que la moyenne.
