Objects and language in transcontextual communication

Contributions to this special issue explore the role of objects and language in communication across contexts from interdisciplinary angles, including sociolinguistics, education, anthropology and sociology. The case studies range from medical to educational settings and investigate how meaning is constructed and projected withing and across contexts.
