Abstract :
[en] The thesis explores the institutional set-up, the underlying ideology and the workings of return assistance projects in Kosovo by applying Bourdieu’s field theory as an analytical framework. It describes experiences with return assistance from the perspectives of the returned persons as well as of those administering the projects. Additionally, it tries to offer explanations for the discrepancies observed between stated policy principles and practices .
