[en] This analysis of the biography of the last queen of France, Marie-Antoinette, written by Antonia Fraser and the biopic directed by Sofia Coppola brings to the fore the multiple roles Marie-Antoinette was playing or was seen to play already during her lifetime. This allows to compare gender representations in the 18th and 21st centuries.
