Adding ORBilu uploads to your ORCID profile
11/10/2019
The Open Researcher and Contributor ID - ORCID - provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher and, through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission, supports automated linkages between you and your professional activities ensuring that your work is recognised. If you do not already have one, you can register on their website: https://orcid.org/ The current version of ORBilu does not include the option to fill-in your ORCID, but it will be added to the system in the near future. In the meantime, here is a work-around to feed-in your ORCID profile from ORBilu: 1) From your ORCID profile, under the 'Works' sections, click on "Add works" > "Search & link" > "BASE - Bielefeld Academic Search Engine" 2) Update the search field with your name as it appears on ORBilu - aut:"SURNAME, FIRST NAME" 3) Check which publications belong to you and click on "Claim" next to your name. You ORCID profile should show those publications you claimed.
Clean your ORBilu
28/06/2019
The ORBilu team is organising a series of sessions to help you make sure your publications are as visible and findable as possible.
Want as many people to read your work and cite you but still staying in the legality of your publishing agreement? Let's sit down together and help you identify whether you could change a "Limited Access" upload to "Open Access" or "Open Access with embargo". We will share with you some tips and tools that will help you when uploading future references (e.g. DOI, handle, SherpaRomeo).
Let us know if you would like to organise a session in your department or an individual meeting. Email us at orbilu@uni.lu
