Urban Planning, Jerusalem, ethnic conflicts, religious conflict, Israel
Abstract :
[en] Jerusalem is exploiting a collective rhetorical imaginary that has nothing to do with its real marks and features; the second is that Jerusalem is an Israeli city, although with a large Arab minority and a strong cultural bond with its cultural heritage and current presence- and this is by no means a political
statement, rather an objective remark; the third is that Jerusalem is no example of
multiculturalism, although is a good one of pluralism or segregated coexistence, where,
unlike Europe, respective communities are not opposing each other in terms of ethnical
racism but more out of national and cultural belonging (and social well-being)
