Abstract :
[en] The DYNAMIQUES project aims to understand students’ perceptions of instructional quality (SPIQ) and how they relate to learning processes and (learning and motivational) outcomes. It will investigate the day-to-day dynamics of SPIQ, learning processes, and outcomes using experience sampling (electronic diaries) to study secondary school students in everyday school life. It focuses on, but is not limited to, the three basic dimensions of instructional quality (cognitive activation, classroom management, and student support) in the domains of mathematics, English, and history instruction. The project will address four objectives: understanding the multilevel structure of SPIQ, investigating within-person processes, exploring heterogeneity in within-person dynamics, and examining the generalizability of findings between German and Luxembourgish schools. The findings will help expand our understanding of how students’ experience of instruction affects learning.
