Abstract :
[en] In this article, we study processes of social construction of homosexuality in an educational context, employing both quantitative and qualitative methods. Our research attempts to fill a gap in the existing literature on homophobia and homosexuality by focusing on the neglected area of professional training. We employ the concepts of sexuality, heteronormativity and homophobia to analyse the perspectives of young boys and young girls regarding homosexuality at school and society at large, prejudice, stereotypes and the role of sexual education.
