Abstract :
[en] This presentation highlights the participatory approach in the creation of a born-digital audio testimonies collection within U-CORE project in which Ukrainian refugees are not only interviewed, but also involved in shaping their data space. The focus lies on dealing with sensitive information: What is considered sensitive in the context of the ongoing war — and from whose perspective? Based on individual interviews and participatory workshops, the presentation analyzes how interviewees reflect on, revise, or restrict their statements in the digital space. The ethical questions about data protection, representation, and access rights amidst conflict challenge the oral history tools and demand new solutions.
