Abstract :
[en] This study explores the multipath effects on the radiation pattern measurements of a fan-shaped beam right-handed circularly polarized antenna, tailored for diversity applications in satellites operating at a central frequency of 19 GHz. Utilizing a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), we measure the radiation pattern at three elevation angles, inducing different scenarios with different obstacles. Our results demonstrate that various obstacles, including the ground, contribute to multipath, significantly distorting the radiation pattern characteristics like main beam and side lobe levels.
