Abstract :
[en] Learning Objectives: Promote reflexive thinking about difficult choices in pediatric palliative care in a global perspective; Identify and test bioethical instruments (clinical decision-making instruments) that can help health care professionals deal with difficult choices; Support a systemic approach about moral distress and how pediatric health care professionals can cope with difficult choices in pediatric palliative care. Topics: 1. Introduction to the workshop; 2. Difficult choices in pediatric palliative care; 3. Clinical ethical strategy- Decision making instruments; 4. Framing professional moral distress; 5. Case scenario discussion.
