[en] We have selected studies based on the use of SNR observations collected using commercially available GNSS receiving units or modules. We have excluded theoretical studies, experimental studies requiring observables other than SNR (e.g., carrier-phase or pseudorange), or results available only in theses/dissertations. Results from the application of SNR-based GNSS-R altimetry to sensing targets other than the sea, such as snow depth, were also excluded.
