[en] This paper examines 100 years of Belgium-Luxembourg cooperation, from the creation of the Belgium-Luxembourg Economic Union (UEBL) in 1921 to its evolution into a broader framework of collaboration. It explores historical, economic, and political dimensions of bilateral relations, highlighting key developments, such as post-war European integration, monetary policies, and cross-border mobility. The study also analyses historiographical approaches, discussing the impact of shared history, diplomatic relations, and economic interdependence. In addition to the question of which terms can be used to analyse bilateral relations, the volume pursues a programmatic objective for future research.
