Abstract :
[en] Following the end of coalmining in Belgium (1992) and France (2004), the year 2018 marks the end of hard coal mining in Germany as well. This contribution looks at the legacy of coalmining of Germany’s French-speaking neighbours and presents the most important remaining coal mining heritage sites as well as some extraordinary converted sites in France and the Belgian province Wallonia.
[de] Nach dem Ende des Steinkohlenbergbaus in Belgien (1992) und Frankreich (2004) markiert das Jahr 2018 auch in Deutschland das Ende des Steinkohlenbergbaus. Der Beitrag befasst sich mit dem Erbe des Steinkohlenbergbaus in den französischsprachigen Nachbarländern Deutschlands und stellt die wichtigsten erhaltenen Steinkohlenbergwerke sowie einige außergewöhnliche Konversionsstandorte in Frankreich und der belgischen Provinz Wallonien vor.
[fr] Après la fin de l'extraction du charbon en Belgique (1992) et en France (2004), l'année 2018 marque la fin de l'extraction de la houille en Allemagne également. Cette contribution se penche sur l'héritage de l'exploitation charbonnière des voisins francophones de l'Allemagne et présente les plus importants sites du patrimoine charbonnier restants ainsi que certains sites convertis extraordinaires en France et dans la province belge de Wallonie.
