[en] Founded in 1923 in Brussels, the Fédération Internationale d'Éducation Physique (FIEP) is an independent and globally engaged organization, aimed at promoting a broad range of activities in the fields of physical education, sport for all, fitness and health, and recreation for people of all ages. It provides a network of contacts and a means of communication and exchange amongst scientists and organizations.

<br />At the 12th FIEP European Congress in Luxembourg, leading researchers and educationalists from all over Europe addressed current challenges and developments in the field of physical education, for example, the physical activity behavior of young people, intercultural learning and inclusion and the use of digital technologies.
