Abstract :
[en] Due to the demand for sustainable buildings and slim constructions, composite slim-floor systems become more important. The present European Codes do not include complete design rules for shallow-floor beams. In the design, additional regulations have to be considered for ultimate limit state, serviceability limit state and fire design. In this paper the characteristics in erection state, for the cross section classification, the plastic moment resistance and the influence of transverse bending moments are presented. Apart from traditional sections consisting of rolled profiles also floor slabs with integrated steel box-sections have been considered
