Abstract :
[en] Reappraising arousal boosts efficient sympathetic activation and analytic performance. We investigated if mindful awareness of bodily changes without positive re-evaluation of this perception also helps to buffer against negative stress responses. Taken together the results suggest that both mindfulness and reappraisal influence stress-related blood pressure, working memory performance and rumination.
