Abstract :
[en] This article aime at a general audience, presents three charters held in the National Archive in Luxembourg, in the Fonds Weimar. Commenting on several features, it provides a context to the writing of these three charters and illustrantes the involvement of high ranking aristocrate (indeed, sovereigns), in the affairs of a small convent. This article was written as part of a series of short pièces on the occasion of the XXth Journées Lotharingiennes, an international conference held from 24 to 26 October at the University of Luxembourg, on the topic "Re-reading the history of territorial principalities".
