The interview was conducted by Dr Elena Danescu, a Researcher at the CVCE, and particularly focuses on the following subjects: Viviane Reding’s childhood, youth and education; her early political career; her time at the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies; the personality and working method of Pierre Werner; her activities as a Member of the European Parliament; her work as a Member of the European Commission in the fields of education, culture, youth, media and sport, the information society and media, and justice, fundamental rights and citizenship; and Luxembourg and the European integration process. | |
