[en] In this survey paper we present the Main Theorems related to the generalized Dhombres equation in the complex domain. We discuss the local as well as the global theory. This includes formal, local analytic, entire and meromorphic solutions. [fr] Dans cet article, nous synthétisons les principaux résultats concernant les équations de Dhombres généralisées dans le plan complexe. Nous étudions la théorie locale et globale. Nous considérons donc, entre autres, les solutions formelles, localement analytiques, entières et méromorphes.
