The Uni.lu Open Science working group and the RDM Community of Practice are pleased to announce our first Love My Data week 11 - 15 March 2024.

The week aims to bring awareness of research data management (RDM), create a momentum for caring for data and raise the data community spirit. We hope you will join the fun!

PROGRAMME

Mon 11 Mar	Design a Data Management Sticker Competition! Design a data management sticker for the University. This can be an illustration, or computer generated... (SVG, PDF, PNG, JPG, hand drawn) Theme: If you love your data, set it free! Specific instructions: The content for the sticker must fit in a circular format, ca 7cm width, contain the Uni.lu logo (official formats), include the year ‘2024’, include the designer's name and include ‘Love My Data’. The winning entries will be printed and distributed around campus during Open Access week in October. Credit given to winner. The competition is open to all Uni.lu staff and students. Submit your entry to lovemydata@uni.lu by 15^th April
Tue 12 Mar	RDM Crossword fun! Check if you know all the right lingo in RDM! Do the crossword digitally.
Wed 13 Mar	Spring clean your data day! Revisit your Data Management Plans (DMPs), write a new one, tidy up your data folders, check file names, write READ ME files... A check list of best practice to help you keep your data clean.
Thu 14 Mar 14.00 - 16.00 LLC LH 1.01	Data repair cafe in the LLC! Come to the LLC with your data questions. There will be data stewards and librarians on hand to help you out.
Fri 15 Mar 09.00 - 12.00 LLC LH 1.01	LEGO® Metadata for Reproducibility Game! Restricted to 25 PhD and postdocs - registration will open beginning of March (via Affluences). You must register to be able to attend. Play a data metadata game using our LEGO pieces to learn about the importance of describing data, datasets, and give instructions for reproducibility.
