[more ▼] Today, systematic energy analyses are an accepted tool for the optimisation of operational processes and a reduction of operational costs at municipal as well as at industrial sewage plants. Results of more than 50 energy analyses carried out by the authors confirm a possible increased energy efficiency without an impairment of the purification performance for the checked sewage plants. The derived energetic measures are predominantly economic and help to operate the existing plants in an optimised and cost efficient way. The implementation of the measures helps to reduce the CO2-emissions related to sewage treatment. [less ▲] Detailed reference viewed: 166 (2 UL) |
